Enhancing the sporting journey of the youth athlete, parent & coach

Craig Dalrymple, the CID SPORT owner, has facilitated the development and progression of 100's of youth athletes over the last 30 years, enabling them to graduate successfully into senior environments, including collegiate (NCAA, U Sports), national team (Olympic Games, World Championships), and professional programs (Europe & North America). The holistic educational and complimentary training services are provided for athletes, coaches and parents. CID SPORT believes every youth sport participant deserves a positive and rewarding experience, and to maximize their potential.

CORE SERVICES

EDUCATION SERIES
(ATHLETE, COACH, PARENT)

Youth sport provides opportunity to learn, grow and develop important life and sport skills. The journey should be extremely rewarding for everyone. Unfortunately, through lack of awareness, education & resource the experience can end up being less than ideal. Let’s not let that happen!

CID SPORT offers customized education sessions for athletes, coaches, and parents.

HIQ TRAINING
(HIGH INTENSITY & QUALITY)

HIQ training targets holistic development for the committed athletes,  combining physical development, bio-mechanical & technical (skill) development activities. The sessions are high in intensity and quality, creating the optimum environment for development. The HIQ training is customized to the athlete’s needs and designed to complement regular team/club sessions. Soccer-specific sessions and multi-sport athlete development sessions are offered.

DSI TRAINING
(DEVELOPING SPEED & INTELLIGENCE)

Sport at the highest level is played at faster speeds with fewer mistakes. To progress athletes must improve their speed of thought, allowing them to think, move, and execute actions quickly. This soccer-specific DSI training focuses specifically on these important development areas.

  1. Awareness

  2. Decision making

  3. Execution

CID SPORT owner, Craig Dalrymple, had the absolute pleasure of contributing to the development of Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich FC & Canadian Soccer player) from his recruitment as a 14 year old, to coaching him in his final professional appearance for the Whitecaps FC in Major League Soccer, as a soon to be turning 18 year old. In that final game, in front of the home fans, Alphonso scored both goals in a 2-1 regular season win.

"Phonzy's" career has continued to blossom for club and country, a couple of highlights include winning the Champions League in 2020 with Bayern Munich FC, and scoring for Canada at the 2022 World Cup. A fantastic athlete, and even better person.

Craig had the honour of providing Simon Colyn, his professional soccer debut in 2018 for the Whitecaps FC in Major League Soccer. Simon was 16 at the time and continues to flourish after being transferred to reputable dutch club PSV Eindhoven in 2021.
