HIQ TRAINING
High Intensity & Quality (HIQ)
HIQ training targets holistic development for committed athletes. Each session is delivered as part of a larger 6 or 9 session program, that combine activities in the gym and bio-mechanical & technical (skill) development activities on the field / pitch. The sessions are high in intensity and quality, creating the optimum environment for development. The HIQ program is customized to the athlete’s needs, and designed to complement regular team/club sessions. The 60min sessions are offered in two types of training programs, and each program has three different session focuses. The athletes will also be placed through performance testing in the first and last weeks of the program.
Program #1 = Soccer-specific
Session #1 = core/balance & ball mastery
Session #2 = Strength & receiving/turning
Session #3 = Power & 1v1 attacking/defending
Program #2 = Athlete development
Session #1 = core/balance & running form
Session #2 = Strength & change of direction
Session #3 = Power & plyometrics (accel.)
